On March 1st, Roxie and I took our Peace Corps friends Brian and Amber Lewandowski to the Falls of Baliene for the first time. It also marked the first time that I captained a speedboat, and our adventures lasted into well after dark. Roxi'es borhter Fitz and a couple of his friends acted as our tour guides. After a nice time at the falls, we stopped at Richmond Beach on the way back south, where a beach party was taking place. We then went to Barroullie to drop of Brian and Amber. The captain of our speedboat had too much to drink, and so I had to drive Fitz's small boat back to Roxie's house in the pitch black while Fitz drove the speedboat home. It was an experience I will never forget. |
